Re: Fuel gauge acting up
Worked perfectly for years... Could even judge how empty it really was by a fraction of a millimetre of the position of the gauge. Would hate to think it'd never work again.

Fuel gauge acting up
Tank in my Mpi gets signalled as completely empty on fuel gauge when it's still 2/3 full. When I top up fuel tank, reads as full but after a short drive goes to empty again.
Fuel cap seems to looser than previously...

Missing bolt and what is this?
I was changing the top engine steady rubber bush when I noticed this yoke was missing a nut & bolt (the one on the farside that is out of view) http://i1348.photobucket.com/albums/p733/jasonbutler_ie/Mini-missing-bolt-outline_zps9297f103.jpg 1. What is it? 2. How bad is it to not to have a secon...

Re: Horn not working
Paul's been doing no end of work on my Mini. But I'm nearly broke and I would like to try to save some money by fixing little things where and when I can.
Any ideas on what it could be?

Horn not working
It's a MPi Mini. SRS light is working as normal. I don't think it's the yoke in the steering wheel as when I press the horn button there's a electrical/mechanical clicking sound from the dash and when the yoke in the wheel broke previously the SRS light stayed on all the time. Could it be a fuse? If...

Hey there Maxi!
My Mini has been a bit ignored for past year or two. Though I still drive it everyday. Time to get it sorted (& NCT'd)!!

60K+ miles: what work should be done?
Hey all, My Mini has recently crossed over 60,000 miles on the clock and am wondering what parts should be looked at or replaced at this milestone (or before)? Car drives well but I know the cones and dampers need replacing. Apart from them what else would you think might need doing? Should I get th...

Bodywork and suspension repairs
My Mini has developed the common rust along the bottom of the doors problem and has the odd dent too. I'm looking for a place / someone who would do these sorts of repairs. Got a quote from that crash repairs place off the Long Mile Road last year and it was quite expensive. I'm sure they'd do a goo...

That reminds me the Mini is way overdue a wash and polish. Think there's still some pig ooze on the boot lid... And please do spread the word (if you think the show is funny!)

BUTCHERS - Pig tied to roof of Mini
I've directed an online comedy series called BUTCHERS as part of the RTE Storyland project. It's about two guys Gerry and Enda who lose their jobs and open up a Butchers shop. One scene features them trying to fit a dead pig into the boot of a Mini. It was my Mini and I was wincing as they nearly to...
