Found that relay lad. Had it pluged in. But by off chance i had a spare one and i tired it. The car now starting off the key. My relay must of been shot. Cheers for all you help lads. I can now concertrate on the body. Hopin to out for the show in ballybofey on the 24 of june. anyone going.

the starter is turning but not off the key. Checked the bullet connection all ok. Would the solendoid be the problem?

I have 12volts at the starter even when i'm tring to crank it over. The light dim slightly but not alot.

I have that wire connect aswell but still no joy. When i tested that wire i only got 5 volts comin out of it. Also i have changed the solenoid to. When i cross out the started to where the red/white go the starter doesn't ture. Going bald from the head scratchin at this stage.

Wiring Problem

Lads wondering if you could help me. I have just restored my mini to it's former glory but and it a big up it won't start. I have checked for power and i don't have power at the starter when you turn the starter key to the 3rd stage. I'm i missing something. Is there a relay or anything that i might...

Spit

I am stripping down my mini at the minute and am buildin a spit for the job. This is so i can clean the underneath of the car. I was wonderin where is the best place to mount the spit to the car. as not to stress the car.

This is the number I got off the plate that it rivited to the block but i look again for you.

Sorry it took so long could find the plate, took it off when i was painting the engine again. The number i got was 106848. Does that mean i have a 1098 engine.

Engines sizes

How do you tell what size or type an engine is. On the engine number what numbers tells you the size and type of the engine. Was just wondering as i have two at the house and i'm not sure what the came from and what size there are. Thank lads
