Re: a 99 - Flake included??

The Mpi minis came in from late '96.
So all minis registered from then on should have drivers airbag, seat belt pre-tensioners and anti-intrusion bars in the doors.

Re: Mini 50 @ Mondello - June 14th
Hi Andy, Classic Car Live at Mondello had its first show last year and the organisers had an age cap of 1985 which meant most of our members couldn't bring their cars. This year because of Mini 50, we were approached to put together a display of Minis and brought up the age ...

Re: UZI 45 - Mk1 Cooper S
I took this photo about 18 years ago. Anyone recognise this Mk1 S? As you can see, it's all the one colour just as my own '67 was when I bought it. Billy
Looks like one of ...

Its not the Mk1 shell the GRX5D registration first appeared on, however the mk2 shell and the registration were put together around 1968 by the BMC works team.
They wanted the rally Minis to be the current mk2 model.

from memory the mk1 shell ended up BOO911F, or something simlar.

Its the mk2 GRX 5D that went to Canada in the late 1960's for BMC, its an original works shell.
