Oh my goodness, Mark - glad he was OK, but as you say, what a way to start the LC (well at least the prang would have taken his mind off the exam nerves!).

We only visited on the Saturday, so escaped the worst of the weather/mud/etc., but there was a lot of grumbling about the organisation (or lack of), toilets (primitive), dysfunctional ticketing/queueing systems, etc., etc. I'm sure someone will be along to elaborate further!

We have two kids, now 18 and 11, have driven Minis as daily drivers all their lives. I guess if you're used to it, there's no problems - I can't remember any great difficulties.
