Indicators problem - MPI

Hi folks, Wondering can someone help me. A bit of condensation gets into my right indicator lens regularly - so I'm constantly cleaning it out. Anyway, yesterday that indicator stopped working for a while, but came back in the evening. So this morning I decided to check it. The bulb was fine, but wh...

Re: Quick Q - Wiring new spot lamps...

keith, Buddy - thanx for the replies. @Buddy - on the LE MPI there is only 2 spots, for high beams: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j76/robjcurran/IMG_8022.jpg So basically all I'm looking to do is remove those two and put on these: https://www.plminishop.com/images/s6055_cm.JPG That's it, just a ...

Quick Q - Wiring new spot lamps...

Just bought new spots for my mpi. It's a cooper, but specifically a Mini John Cooper LE. Anyway, they have 2 spots as standard. With regards putting on the new spots, from what I can tell I would need to cut the cable and wire it to the new one. Is it as simple as cutting the existing cable, and the...

Re: Wanted for Wedding!

If you're using a mini as your wedding car it's best to just remove the front passenger seat (only takes a few minutes). I'd recommend putting mats on the floor then over any metal to prevent snagging etc. Also, as someone else stated clean all the hinges to make sure there's no grease or anything t...

Re: Seen a Mini?

Saw a beautiful red Cooper S (presuming genuine) on ZV 88XXX plates (I think - must be a classic import on ZV plates?) yesterday on the M50. Was driving behind him off onto the N4 before he exited for Liffey Valley. Got a wave! Didn't get a good look at the side/front but looked absolutely mint. Bea...

Available here for €19.99. Sounds like a bargain?!

But are these any good? Is there a risk of damaging the paintwork using one?

Spotted a very nice looking orange 81 (possibly LH) reg mini with black arches on the M50 yesterday evening. Passed me by as I was queuing to get off at N4 - didn't see it in time to wave!

Re: Any good crash repair places for minis in Dublin?

That's the pic :) Rob used to own my Cooper LE (well, he imported it from England actually). Seems like a top bloke, that clubman of his was a beast (got a brief spin in it as he lives in Lucan as well, and I'm man enough to admit I slightly soiled myself. Only slightly mind you  ). When I saw ...

Re: Any good crash repair places for minis in Dublin?

Before I saw this car a couple of years ago, I wasn't a Clubman fan. However this one changed all that. In my eyes the most beautiful example I've seen (love the pic of it with Robs (sadly now dead) black VTEC Clubman). If you ever ever ever ever ever ever are stupid enough to sell it, please contac...
